Senior Commercial Litigation Paralegal
Location: Center City, Philadelphia
Kang Haggerty is seeking an ambitious and driven litigation paralegal with a minimum of 10 years of paralegal experience. This is a full-time position, and your primary responsibility will be managing commercial litigation matters.
Applicants must be able to think and work independently. Applicants should have strong communication, writing, organizational, and computer skills. Applicants should also have strong time-management skills and be able to handle multiple tasks from several partners and associates with conflicting deadlines simultaneously. Must be familiar with working in Pennsylvania and New Jersey state and federal courts.
Significant experience with complex electronic filing is required. This role will require assisting with voluminous discovery requests and responses, document productions, exhibits, and motion practice. Significant experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and Adobe are required. Applicants should have strong proofreading skills.
Working knowledge of document review platforms, including Relativity, is preferred but not required.
Professional manner, diligence, ability to work well with and train other junior paralegals and legal assistants, and the ability to assume responsibility are essential components of this position.
This position is best suited for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys being challenged to take on additional responsibilities as needed. The position may require OT work as needed.
Prior trial experience is preferred but not required.
