Overview
Senior HRIS Analyst Objective
Responsible for leading the administration, optimization, and ongoing support of HR systems and technical processes. This position drives workflow efficiency, reporting accuracy, data integrity, compliance, and user experience improvements across HR applications and related business processes, while serving as a key technical resource for complex issues, enhancements, and cross-functional initiatives.
Responsibilities
Senior HRIS Analyst Responsibilities
Lead analysis of HR systems, workflows, and business processes to identify improvement opportunities, recommend solutions, and implement changes that increase efficiency, strengthen data quality, and improve overall user experience.
Identify, evaluate, and recommend practical strategies for the use of AI within HR processes and services to improve efficiency, decision-making, employee experience, and operational effectiveness, while supporting appropriate governance, data privacy, and responsible use standards.
Oversee day-to-day support for HR systems by troubleshooting issues, resolving service requests, researching root causes, and coordinating escalation and resolution of more complex technical concerns.
Partner with IT, Security, vendors, and internal stakeholders to lead or support system integrations, identity management activities, technical enhancements, and issue resolution affecting HR applications and downstream processes. Manage vendor relationships as the primary point of contact for troubleshooting, platform implementations, updates, and ongoing support.
Qualifications
Senior HRIS Analyst Responsibilities
Required
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, information systems, or a related field required; equivalent experience may be considered.
5-7 years of experience supporting HR systems, HR operations, payroll-related systems, or other complex business applications required.
Experience in an HR or payroll environment with strong working knowledge of HR processes, data flows, controls, and compliance considerations required.
Experience administering HRIS or related enterprise systems, including reporting, testing, workflow support, configuration changes, and troubleshooting required.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Experience supporting system implementations, enhancements, process improvement initiatives, documentation, or end-user training preferred.
