It requires a high level of accountability, the ability to handle many competing deadlines simultaneously, and proficiency with technology.
Key Responsibilities
Support the end-to-end execution of commercial real estate loan originations, modifications, restructurings, workouts, deed-in-lieu transactions, foreclosures, and other portfolio transactions.

Review outside counsel work product, including loan documentation and closing deliverables, and collaborate with outside counsel, borrowers, tenants, title companies, and other stakeholders to negotiate transaction terms and resolve legal issues.

Apply advanced knowledge of commercial real estate lending, title, survey, and leasing matters to negotiate closing conditions, evaluate requests, and support sound legal and business decisions.
Oversee the accurate execution, recording, filing, release, and post-closing administration of loan documentation.
Train, mentor, and provide guidance to junior paralegals on commercial mortgage lending transactions and related processes.
Drive process improvements across the commercial loan lifecycle while maintaining knowledge of industry trends, legal developments, and regulatory requirements.
Leverage generative AI and other technology tools to improve efficiency, accuracy, and subject matter expertise.
