Experience: 2 years of experience in robotics engineering or related. Requires skills and experience to involve: Strong programming skills in C++ and Python programming languages for autonomous software. Demonstrated experience writing object detection and tracking algorithms for autonomous vehicle software. Hands-on experience in training, deploying, and performing GPU timing optimization for deep learning models and related computation. Demonstrated knowledge of inter-component communication, planning mechanisms, and sensor properties for the autonomous vehicle perception stack. Demonstrated foundation in computer vision and understanding of LiDAR, radar, and camera sensor operations for autonomous vehicles. Demonstrated experience with PyTorch deep learning framework. Demonstrated technical foundations in linear algebra, calculus, probability theory, and statistics.
Job duties: The Senior Software Engineer position will Develop, analyze, and optimize autonomous robotics software for the complex Perception system, the module responsible for detecting and tracking objects around the autonomous vehicle, to aid in the deployment of autonomous driving technology. Analyze, troubleshoot, and debug the core perception autonomy stack with a specific focus on the multi-object tracking subsystems. Design, implement, and deploy advanced deep-learning models to significantly enhance the accuracy, efficiency, and reliability of the Perception systems’ special tracking and attribute classification capabilities. Write algorithms and programming code for the autonomous vehicle perception system. Process LiDAR, radar, and camera sensor data to design, develop, and implement changes to the Perception system.
