Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
I am a dentist. I built Continuum because I kept seeing the same thing in clinical practice: oral health sitting completely apart from everything else, invisible to the psychologist, the OT, the speechie, the dietitian, even when it was directly affecting the patient in front of them. Nobody was talking to each other. The patient was the one paying for that silence.
Continuum is Australia's first integrated telehealth platform that brings oral health into the same care model as psychology, occupational therapy, speech pathology and dietetics. Not as an afterthought. As a genuine part of how we understand and support the whole person. We exist for people who have always had the least access to coordinated care, including NDIS participants, regional and remote communities, aged care residents, and families who have simply never had the right support at the right time.
I am looking for a speech pathologist who shares that philosophy and wants to be part of building something that actually works.
What collaboration looks like here
You are not working in isolation. When you are supporting a patient with communication or swallowing, I want to know if their oral health is part of the picture. When I am working with a patient and I see something that needs a speechie, I refer across the same platform with shared context, not a cold referral into the void. That is the model we are building together.
What is different for you as a clinician
You set your own fees, with a minimum session rate of $150. Your rates, your call above that floor.
No unpaid admin. Session notes and reports are drafted automatically and come to you for review and sign-off. You are not writing from scratch.
You choose your caseload and availability. Work one day a week or more, on your terms.
Clients come to you. Intake, scheduling, reminders and follow-ups are all managed.
Fully telehealth. Work from wherever you are, no commute, no clinic politics.
REMUNERATION
Contractor split of 60 to 70 percent of session fees inclusive of superannuation guarantee, depending on experience and seniority, with a clear pathway to 70/30 as your caseload grows. You set your own session rate above a minimum of $150 per session. No salary or leave entitlements apply as this is an independent contractor arrangement.
Requirements
Minimum 2 years post-graduation experience as a speech pathologist.
Current membership with Speech Pathology Australia.
Current professional indemnity insurance, or confirmation it will be in place before commencing.
A private, confidential space suitable for delivering telehealth sessions.
Reliable internet and appropriate device for video consultations.
ABN as a sole trader or through a business entity.
A genuine interest in integrated, collaborative care across disciplines.
We especially welcome applications from clinicians in regional and remote areas and those returning from a career break.
