Job Title: X-Ray Technologist Profession: X-Ray Technologist Specialty: X-Ray Technologist Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 07:00 AM - 09:00 PM Hours per Shift: 40 Experience: Minimum 2 years License: Valid state license as an X-Ray Technologist Certifications: BLS Must-Have: - Knowledge of radiation safety and sterile techniques - Ability to work as part of a team - Excellent customer service skills Description: Employee will provide excellent customer service to patients, visitors, and staff with an emphasis on quality service and safe care. Employee must be self-motivated and demonstrate the ability to work as a team. Employee will be responsible for routine radiography imaging as well as assisting with fluoroscopy procedures such as barium exams, arthrograms, myelograms, hysterosalpingograms, trauma cases, and various operating room procedures. Employee will be responsible for assisting with interventional radiology cases such as nephrostomy tubes, drainage catheter placements, power port removals, tunneled catheters, pelvic venograms, and various other procedures. Unit includes three x-ray rooms, one interventional radiology room, and one pain clinic room. Employee will provide coverage for operating room, emergency room, and inpatient services as well as walk-in x-ray coverage.
