GPS Impact is hiring a seasonal, full-time Account Manager to join our growing Client Services team. This position can be remote (pending location approval) or based in one of our physical office locations of Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Philadelphia, PA or Washington, DC. This is a seasonal position and will end on December 31, 2026.
We are a full-service public affairs and multimedia advertising agency with broad experience helping progressive candidates, advocacy groups, and organizations use integrated, strategic communications and advertising to achieve their goals. Act as lead for multiple clients and work alongside other client leads, managers, and other departments to develop digital strategies that maximize our clients’ online fundraising and engagement through email, SMS, and social media platforms
Work with clients to develop strategy and voice that uniquely positions them to reach their goals
Coordinate internal approvals between GPS media buying/creative teams and partner/principals to ensure projects are successfully moving forward
Coordinate client approvals on GPS materials at the project lead's discretion
Track delivery of media plans on multiple accounts to ensure client expectations are being met
Coordinate and assist with political verifications for ad buying platforms as needed
Manage the production process for copy and visual collateral
Recommend email, paid acquisition, advertising, social media, and text strategies to activate and grow clients’ supporter bases
Draft and review ad copy for digital media plans as needed
Assist with the presentation of media plans, reports, presentations, and other written materials as needed
Assist with analytics data pulling as needed
Requirements
REQUIREMENTS:
Experience collaborating a goal-oriented digital communication and fundraising plan
Highly organized and detail-oriented, with an ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines
Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced environment
Dependable and trustworthy with an ability to work well independently and with others
Excellent writing, editing, and proofreading skills
A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both for internal and external communication
Basic understanding of digital communication and digital media programs
Desire to learn and embrace digital media tactics and planning to collaborate within a team
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience with any of the following CRMs: NGP, BSD, Action Network, or NationBuilder
Experience in P2P/A2P texting platforms
Genuine interest in political advertising and understanding of digital media landscape
Project coordination experience
Experience working in Facebook Ads Manager, Excel, Google Slides, Google Docs, and Google Sheets Experience in political CRMs such as NGP, ActionNetwork, and ActBlue
Experience in Asana or other project management tools

This position is part of the collective bargaining unit (CBU) organized under Teamsters Local 696 and is a seasonal, full-time, exempt position with a base salary of $70,000. annually.
