17.50 per hour 20 hours per week program offered in our Beverly, Salem and Gloucester centers

WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Under the supervision of the Education Supervisor, this position assists classroom teachers with the day-to-day operations of the Head Start site where they are located. Early Childhood Education Apprenticeship participants will be active contributors to their classrooms as they work towards developing the skills and competencies of a EEC teacher certified educator.
- Respond with flexibility to changing work assignments
- Respect and maintain confidentiality
- Observe classroom setting
- Ability to respond to direction from appropriate supervisory staff
- Ability to implement activities in the classroom
- Attend required meetings and participate in training opportunities to enhance personal and professional growth. Course work includes Child Growth and Development and Introduction to CDA.
- Complete 480 + hours of classroom time under supervision of certified teaching staff

Requirements
WHAT DO YOU NEED?
- 18 Years of age or older
- Highs School Diploma or GED
- Provide completed physical obtained within the last 12 months and provide proof of MMR and COVID Vaccine
- Pass CORI, SORI, DCF, and fingerprint clearance
- Comply with Head Start vaccine and mask mandate
- Signed Career Development Plan to successfully complete the 9 month coursework
